October 19th Nancy Crasco - Materials and Processes
Nancy Crasco, a well known art quilter and founding member of Quilters Connection, will present her view of how art quilts happen. She will show her own quilts as well as others and explain how ideas become incredible quilts.

November 16th Marci Baker - Doubledipity: More Serendipity Quilts
Exciting techniques, beautiful quilts! Find surprise and beauty with this simple technique. Swirling pattern repeats add magical details to 6-Pointed Stars coming together like a kaleidoscope. By simply cutting layers of large print fabric, you will discover designs beyond imagination. See what fabrics work and why others don't. Spend 3 days and nights, 2 nights, 1 night or an afternoon sewing (and laughing) together on the ever-popular Getaway. Details to be supplied.
January 18th Jessica Leger - How to Become a "Selvedge Queen"
Our own Jessica Leger, queen of the wild jackets, will tell us how she became the quilter she is. With a power point presentation and real live pieces, we can see into Jessica's mind and learn a little something!
February 25thQuiltathon

Make a quilt top and back in advance, if possible. Bring your scissors and thimble. Lunch will be supplied
March 21th Rosemary Hoffenberg - Improvisational Quilting
Rosemary Hoffenberg has been an artist since earliest childhood. Coming to quilting she brought painting, dyeing and drawing. She does not know what a piece will look like when she begins it. She will bring her free-wheeling view to share with us.
April 18th Sue Pelland Designs - A Lecure and Trunk Show
Sue has always looked for new and faster methods to make quilts, so she founded her own tool and pattern company. Sue will show us a new method of cutting applique shapes to make fast and beautiful quilts.
May 16thAnnual Meeting
We will have our election of new officers, our Challenge Quilt Presentation and a Giant Show and Tell. Bring all your work to show and enjoy what others have done.
In addition, Eloise Newell of The Restoration Project in Concord will give a power-point presentation on The Steps of Upholstery. She will also discuss the founding of the Restoration Project.
June 20th Annual Pot Luck Dinner
We will have our annual pot luck dinner. Please bring a dish to share. Also, we will have the installation of New Officer and our Challenge Show and Tell.

Topic: ABC-3D Honeycomb Waffle or Hollow Cube

Time: 9:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
You can make an impressive 3-dimensional optical illusion with simple value selections, once you know the trick. Build the blocks using the strip-piecing method, so it's fast, too! In fact, it is easy enough for a confident beginner.
